The new design concept, “BOLDER", results in a design that expresses the vehicle characteristics more boldly.

The new “BOLDER" design concept that enhances SUBARU’s design philosophy of “Dynamic x Solid" emphasizes the characteristics of each model. With "Aggressive" set as the design theme of the WRX, the design triggers excitement for driving at first glance, and hints at its high level of performance wherever the car goes.
The WRX has inherited the design expression of the “SUBARU VIZIV PERFORMANCE CONCEPT” and “SUBARU VIZIV TOURER CONCEPT” which expresses SUBARU’s future target of “Driving Enjoyment” as a sports car. A clear design expression was unveiled at a concept model level that SUBARU can target a s an ideal design. This includes a bold, sturdy shape star ting from the hexagonal grille; pronounced fenders bulging outward; and a bold forward stance that looks ready to pounce at any moment. The result is a powerful exterior design that stimulates the minds of customers.
