* EyeSight is a driving support system which may not operate optimally under all driving conditions. The driver is always responsible for safe and attentive driving and observance of traffic regulations. System effectiveness depends on many factors such as vehicle maintenance, weather, and road conditions. LED Cornering Lamps

The LED cornering lamps help illuminate the vehicle's front during turns, helping with early detection of pedestrians and bicycles to prevent accidents.

Steering Responsive Headlights (SRH)

See better around corners in the dark for safer nighttime driving. These headlights turn with steering input to aim your lights in the direction your vehicle is turning.

High Visibility

Engineered for safety, the all-new Forester prioritises improved visibility in real-world driving scenarios. Clearer sightlines help spot obstructions early, providing peace of mind on every journey.

Aspherical Passenger Side Mirror

An aspherical side mirror enables safer lane changes, reducing blind spots and expanding your view for improved visibility.

Active Torque Vectoring

Enhances handling during turns by applying brakes to the inner wheels and redistributing drive power to the outer wheels for smoother and more precise manoeuvring.

Vehicle Dynamics Control System

Limits unstable vehicle behavior like lateral slip by monitoring and adjusting wheel braking and engine torque, for precise control on the road.

Auto Vehicle Hold

Keeps your vehicle stationary without requiring the brake pedal, reducing driver fatigue in traffic or on slopes. The switch is conveniently located for easy access on the centre display.

Emergency Driving Stop System

Can automatically bring the vehicle to a complete stop when it detects a prolonged period without steering input by the driver, indicating a potential emergency situation. This helps prevent collisions and ensures the safety of both occupants and others on the road.

Subaru Rear Vehicle Detection (SRVD)

Radar sensors detect objects, swiftly alerting the driver with LED indicators and warning sounds for enhanced safety.

Reverse Automatic Braking (RAB)

Detects obstacles while reversing, alerting the driver with a buzzer and flashing indicator and can apply brakes if necessary to prevent collisions.

Multi View Monitor

Provides a comprehensive view of your surroundings, combining camera feeds from various angles. Easily assess potential hazards and obstacles to prevent accidents during parking and reversing.

Supplemental Restraint System (SRS)* Airbags

A far side airbag enhances protection from side collisions. Paired with a passenger seat cushion airbag for improved frontal collision safety, the all-new Forester helps protect you with nine airbags in total.

Ring-shaped Reinforcement Frame

Protects the cabin area with structurally redesigned high-tensile steel panels for better collision impact energy absorption from all directions.
